    保健所に収容された愛らしい子犬たちの写真集。白黒の写真だが深い味わいがある。この本の子犬たちは譲渡犬で、今はどこかで幸せに暮らしているだろうと作者は言う。捨て犬の悲惨な生涯を伝えるために作者は“あえて”譲渡犬を被写体に選んだという。「可愛い譲渡犬たちを通して捨てられて死んでいく多くの犬たちのことを考え、救いの手を伸ばしてほしい」と作者は強く訴えている。
