02年に発表した1stアルバム『Headphone Masterpiece』のロックやソウル、ブルース、ゴスペル、フォーク等をミックスしたオリジナルなスタイルが高い評価を得、さらに自身の楽曲をザ・ルーツがリメイクしてヒットさせた「Seed 2.0」で知られるコディ・チェスナットの待望のニューアルバム。間にEP『Black Skin No Value』を発表したものの、アルバムとしては実に10年ぶり。レコーディングを行ったのは、アル・グリーン等のHI作品でソウル・ファンにはあまりにも有名なメンフィスにある故ウィリー・ミッチェルのロイヤル・スタジオで、南部ソウルの匂い漂う作品に仕上がってます。
