Verveのチェアマンであるデイヴィッド・フォスターとの初めてのコラボレーション。1960年代後半から現在までダイアナにインスパイアを与えてきた永遠に輝くポップ・ソングの数々をフォスターの豪華アレンジで歌う、夢の企画盤。「デスペラード」、「アイム・ノット・イン・ラヴ」、「ドント・ドリーム・イッツ・オーヴァー」など日本でも長年愛されているナンバーの数々をデイヴィッド・フォスター一流の壮大なアレンジで旧来のジャズ・ファンだけでなく、40代50代の幅広いファン層へアプローチできる内容！収録曲には、なんとポール・マッカートニーが書き下ろした新曲も収録。
