Exodus are the undeniable forefathers of thrash metal. They gained huge notoriety in the international underground scene as a result of the tape trading community in the early 80s. Their newest album, LET THERE BE BLOOD was produced by Gary Holt and mixed by Andy Sneap, it also features the bonus track Hell's Breathe- a never before recorded classic from back in the day.

スラッシュの名盤「Bonded by Blood」のリメイク版。上記のアルバムはボーカル「ポール・バーロフ」の癖の強い歌声とチープなサウンドプロダクションで、個人的に今聴くには厳しい思いがあり、このリメイク版の発売は非常に嬉しかったです。元々楽曲は良いので、現代のサウンドで蘇った「新作」として楽しんでいます

こりゃなんだ？と思って速攻でゲット。 メタルコマンドを初め、現在のヘヴィな音で再現されています！ セルフカヴァーというよりセルフコピーなところがいい！ 文句なしにサイコーです。 当時のＴシャツを着てＬＩＶＥに行くぜ！！！ ゼトロの頃の曲もたくさんやって欲しいね。

ゲイリーのクランチリフのゾリット感が初期と比べるとかなり増している（レコーディング機器の発達もあるが）。 一番何より感じたのは、ポール・バーロフに対してのリスペクトも込められていると思う。 このアルバムを引っさげてのツアーもやっもらいたと願うばかり。
