このバンドのアルバムはこれで初めて聞いたのですが、Voの声質が美しいし、アレンジも幻想的な美しさを出してると感じました。ジャンルはゴシックメタルになるみたいですけど、僕にとっては癒やし系のアルバムです。聞いててリラックスできて、幻想的な世界に誘われるようです。

かつてはフィメールゴシックの雄であったギャザリングの最新作。 Voが変わったが,声の質が似ており,違和感はない。1曲目はインストを持ってくる辺りで新たな意志を感じる。前作のhomeより曲がコンパクトにまとまっており,聴きやすいかも。 独特のアレンジ,メロディは昔から一貫している。 オススメﾃﾞｽ。

このアルバムの争点は新任ボーカルにつきると思いますが、新ボーカルのSilje Wergeland嬢、歌声”は”イケてます。声質も透明感があり、素直な歌いまわしも好感度が高いです。過去の曲を歌っても違和感なく聴けるんじゃないかと思います。肝心の楽曲ですが、かなりRock寄りに戻ってくれてまして、いい意味で裏切られました。
