This set showcases the band in the live arena with two generously packed DVDs with content from two live shows from their explosive tour last year, including Hellfest in France and a show in Brooklyn, New York. The 15 minute video documentary On The Road in America by Dennis Dirksen gets to the heart of the matter that the Scorpions are able to consistently attract new generations of fans. In an extensive track-by-track interview, Klaus Meine, Rudolf Schenker and Matthias Jabs offer a sneak peak into the band's musical universe with anecdotes about the origin and meaning of the songs on Return To Forever. The Scorpions manage to blend new songs like Going Out With A Bang, We Built This House and Rock 'n' Roll Band seamlessly with their repertoire of rock classics from Big City Nights and Blackout to Still Loving You and Rock You Like A Hurricane. This package also includes a 16 page booklet. 2015 release, the 18th studio album from the German hard rock band. Return To Forever is released to coincide with the band's 50th Anniversary. Produced by Mikael Nord Andersson and Martin Hansen (Sting In The Tail, MTV Unplugged), The album features brand new studio recordings including the single We Built This House plus seven bonus tracks. Other tracks include Going Out With A Bang, Rock My Car and Eye Of The Storm. The Scorpions were founded in 1965 in Hannover by Rudolf Schenker. They are one of the most famous and longest existing rock bands in the world. The group became synonymous with melodic heavy metal, including powerful rock ballads.

2010年にした解散宣言を撤回してリリースされた2015年作のツアー・エディション。当エディションには、本来の12曲に7曲のボーナストラックが加えられた上、2015年9月12日ニューヨーク公演と2015年6月20日フランス公演をそれぞれ完全収録した2枚のDVDが付いている。先ずこれらライヴ映像が素晴らしい。新曲に70年代メドレーまで加わったセットリストは、BD化されている先のフェアウェル・ツアーのものより魅力的。パフォーマンスも音質画質も最高である。そして肝心の本体、アルバムの出来が文句なしで、よく最高作とされる「Blackout」や「Love At First Sting」にも引けを取らない。またボーナストラックのクオリティが非常に高く、まじで本編と差がない。こんな曲がぞろぞろ出来て来るんじゃ解散など出来なくて当たり前だ。難があるとすれば、19曲は多過ぎるという事位だろう。何しろ豪華過ぎる3枚組。ただしパッケージは質素。
