Digitally remastered edition of this 1970 album by the experimental British band. The Third Ear Band were an underground favorite in the mid to late '60s playing many shows at the legendary UFO and Middle Earth clubs. This album was recorded in July 1970 in Munich for German television, and is the complete soundtrack of the movie of Abelard & Heloise's story. The tragic story, a classic in medieval culture was written by Alexander Pope. The soundtrack has been unavailable for many years and will be a welcome addition to the catalogue of one of the UK's unusual, underrated, and inventive bands.
