これは、ほっとする感じのアルバムだ。テーブルに飾ってある一輪の花のような、可憐で小さな癒し。ラタンのカーペット、電球色のフロアランプ、観葉植物、ベッドを置いた洋間でこのCDをかけていたとき、知人が尋ねてきた。彼は「うゥわ、この部屋、イイ雰囲気ですねィ…」といっていた。アジアっぽい部屋作りに役立つCD。テンポや曲調が他と大幅に異なる曲がないので、就寝用BGMとしても使いやすい。

All music is composed and arranged by Seiichi Kyoda, except the track no. 3 ”Precious Moon”, which is based on the classical Chinese song ”Yue Er Gao”. It was re-arranged and modern tunes were added and I found it really beautiful. All tracks are perfect, but I didn’t like the track no. 8 - ”Marketplace”, it is just a noise without any melody.

This second album of Shao Rong is much much better than the previous one. The music is just perfect! My favourite track here is No. 7 called ”Orchid”. Missa Johnouchi composed this theme for Shao Rong’s pipa and the string quartet. That’s cool, that’s marvellous! In the next couple of tracks on this CD you will hear Shao Rong’s vocal. Yes, she decided to record her own songs on this CD. I must admit, she doesn’t have a powerful voice of a pop-singer, but her silent timbre and her unique style is ju
