On the heels of a sensational debut single ‘Morainaki’, the 25-year-old songstress Hitotoyo releases her solo debut album ‘Tsukitenshin’. With input from some of the most renowned producers in Japan – Satoshi Takebe, Takamune Negishi and Yasuhiro Tomita among others – ‘Tsukitenshin’ offers 10 strikingly original songs you may never have heard before. While the album features a catchy track ‘Sunny Side Up’ and guitar-driven ‘Inu’, the singer shows a good command of Mandarin on the title track as she was born to Taiwanese father and Japanese mother. Her voice is so clear and pleasing as if it fell from the sky and her vocal ability is overwhelming. Great vocal album just in time for the holiday season.
