COD is short for Cash on Delivery. If you purchase something from HMV&BOOKS online and your order is being delivered to an address inside Japan you can select to pay for your order in cash when it arrives.

A handling fee of 330 yen will be charged for each COD payment.

Other Notes
1) Consumption tax is calculated in addition to the COD fee
2) The total value of a COD order may not exceed 100,000yen
3) You cannot use e-collect service.
4) The COD service is not available in isolated islands except Okinawa
5) If a COD order is sent to a customer and the customer is absent for more than 7 days, or if the customer refuses to receive the goods, the order will be returned to HMV. In this case the carriage and COD fee for both the delivery and the return will be charged to the customer.
