JBの代表的アルバム。疑似ライブ仕様のスタジオ録音とオーガスタでのライヴ録音で構成。前者には10代のブーツィ・コリンズが参加。後者のライブはJBショーをそのまま味わえる。 （1970年作品）

Love Power Peace Live At The Olympia
71年3月8日、パリのオリンピア劇場でのライブを収録。オリジナルJBズを従えたJBズのライブ録音はこの作品のみ。ブーツィとキャットフィッシュ参加した圧巻のファンク。（1971年録音/1992年作品）

Revolution Of The Mind
アポロでの3枚目のライブ盤。ボルテージは最高潮に達しホットでタイトなナンバーが続く。「メイク・イット・ファンキー」や「ホット・パンツ」と20分を超す壮絶なナンバー他、キング時代の曲ではあの「セックス･マシーン」や「ソウル・パワー」に圧倒される。（1971年作品）

シリアスなメッセージを込めた作品。スローテンポの「キング・ヘロイン」は異色の出来。ブーツィとフェルプスが参加した「トーキン・ラウド・アンド・セイ・ナッシング」も聞き逃せない。（1972年作品）

ひたすらファンキー・サウンドが続き、まるでファンキーお経のよう（？）。タイトル曲はトータルからコモン、EPMD、メアリー・J.ブライジ、スチャダラパーまでサンプリングネタにされた大定番。スローナンバーも収録。 （1973年作品）

Get Up Offa That Thing
当時ヒットを記録したアルバム。ブームに合わせてリリースされたタイトル曲はまさにJBディスコ。ファンキー・チューンに挟まれてバラードやスロー・ブルースも収録の名作。（1976年作品）

1964年、ストーンズやジェームス・ブラウンらロック、ソウル、ポップ・ミュージックのスターが勢ぞろいし繰り広げた贅沢なコンサート。チャック・ベリー、マーヴィン・ゲイ、ビーチ・ボーイズ等が出演。

Live At The Boston Garden -Extended Edition
1968年4月5日に行われたジェームス・ブラウンのボストン・ガーデンでのライブ映像。当時、マーティン・ルーサーキング・ジュニアが暗殺された影響で市民が暴動を起こさないようにと行われ、地元のテレビ局のWGBHでもライブ中継されたという有名なパフォーマンス。

1974年、モハメド・アリ対ジョージ・フォアマンの試合「キンシャサの奇跡」の前夜祭を追った貴重映像が映画化！ 最も脂が乗った時代のJBをはじめ、B.B.キング、セリア・クルース、ミリアム・マケバなどアフリカン・アメリカン・ミュージシャンらとアフリカのミュージシャンが競演するという歴史的コンサート追うドキュメンタリー。

88年、東ベルリンでの熱いコンサートの模様を収録。メイシオのソロがたっぷり味わえる。シングル・ディスコグラフィー収録。
JB年表（1970年代）
■1970年メイシオ・パーカーが脱退し、さらにバンド・メンバーとギャラで対立しショーをボイコットでバンドは崩壊。キャットフィッシュ＆ブーツィのコリンズ兄弟らを呼び寄せる。「ファンキー・ドラマー」を発表。10月にデイドレ“ディー・ディー”ジェンキンスと再婚。アフリカ・ツアー。ナイジェリアのラゴスでフェラ・クティのライブを見て刺激を受ける。
■1971年
キングを離れ、ポリドールと契約。
コリンズ兄弟がジョージ・クリントンのバンドに加入するため脱退。アポロ・シアターで3枚目のライブアルバム『レヴォリューション・オブ・ザ・マインド』を録音。
サックス奏者のメイシオ・パーカーらを主体とした新しいバンド、フレッド・ウェズリー＆ザ・JBズを率いて精力的に活動。
■1973年
初来日公演。
フレッド・ウェズリーらと初めて映画音楽『ブラック・シーザー』を担当。
6月に長男テディが交通事故で死亡。ボビー・バード脱退。
■1974年
2度目の来日。キンシャサで行われたモハメド・アリとジョージ・フォアマンの試合前の音楽祭に出演。
■1975年
この頃から税金問題でラジオ局や自家用ジェットを売却。若手グループに押され、ヒットから遠ざかるようになる。
3度目の来日。
■1979年
4度目の来日。ライブアルバム『ライヴ・イン・トーキョー、ホット・オン・ディ・ワン』を翌年発表。
