    ミケランジェリとグルダという、二人の名手が初来日にした折のコンサートの記録で、NHKによる非常にクリアな録音を聴くことができ、大変興味深かった。精妙なラヴェル、雄渾なリスト、ミケランジェリの演奏は完璧だ。N響も大健闘。グルダの弾くベートーヴェンは、指揮者にもよるがオーソドックスな演奏。その中でも、第1番のカデンツァなどはグルダの本領発揮と言えるだろう。
