    十二国記の始まりの始まりの物語です。ただ、世界観がわかっていない状態で読むよりは、月の影影の海（上下巻）の後に読むと、わかりやすいかもしれません。

    「十二国記」の知識がなくても1つの物語として楽しめます。インターネットが普及していない年代のお話ですが、今こんなことがあったらどうなってただろうと想像するとぞっとしますね。
