感激！ STUFFのライブはCDだけで、映像で見れるとは思っていなかったこともあり、まあそれだけでも十分という感じ。 一部、映像と音が合わないような場面もあるし、ソロをとっているときにアップにならなかったりという、モントルージャズの映像としては、オヤ？と思うところもあり、それがなかなか世にでなかった理由か？と考えたりするが、それでも十分買う価値あり。 特に、今回のライブを見て、コーネル・デュプリーすばらしさを再発見した。 この人はバッキングはうまい、という感想しかなかったが、どうしてソロをとっていても途中でコードをいれたり、オカズをいれたりしているのがわかった。 これはCDでは気づかなかったと思う。 こうした映像が少しでも商品化されてくれるといいんだけど。

翌々年の２度目の来日以来(Live in Tokyo収録時)はまってました。ほぼ皆、解散頃まで変わらない味を当時から出していたのを目の当たりにして感動ものです。その中で唯一ﾃﾞｭｰﾌﾟﾘｰだけが最近の音数を押さえたｽﾀｲﾙではなくKingpins時代に近い指さばき。ひたすら懐かしい映像でした。このﾒﾝﾊﾞｰの揃った画像はｻﾀﾃﾞｰﾅｲﾄﾗｲﾌﾞのﾊﾞｯｸでしか見てなかったので貴重なお宝映像です。
