Ringo and His 10th All-Starr Band performed their last show at the Greek Theatre in Los Angeles, California, on August 2, 2008. with stars above them and all around them, they played an exuberant set that included highlights spanning Ringo's entire career, from Beatles classics to solo hits. The show at the Greek was the culmination of a fantastic summer playing music on the road. More than a memento of a wonderful show, this is a remarkable playlist of music you know and love which is enhanced by the pleasure the musicians had playing it, and the fun the audience had hearing it. Each All-Starr Tour is unique, a collection of individual musicians who have never come together before and played as this particular band. So each version of their hits has a quality that is distinct to this specific group.

Ringo 68, Gary 65, Edger 62, Hamish 59, Billy 58, Colin 55, Gregg 49. Paulは化け物だと思っていたが、実はRingoもそうだったとは！ Beatlesの伝えたかったもの、それは音楽の可能性。そして、「愛と平和」。決してPaulが唯一のBeatles伝道師ではなく、Ringoのような伝え方もあると思う。比べるものではないかも知れないが。 Ringo’s Star Bandで一貫して貫かれているものはやはり「人」であり、「愛」なんだろう。今回のラインアップもとても面白い人選になっている。内容もとても面白いです。見ているうちに自然と穏やかな気持ちになれます。Ringoの人柄なのかなぁ。 Ringoはどうやって、この組み合わせを考えているのだろう。生真面目な感じのBillyは、このメンバ－の中でも特に不思議！ Ringoの歌がヘタウマなのはまあご愛嬌としても、Edger,Colin,Billy,Garyと皆メインでヴォーカルを張っていた連中だけあって、担当ステージでの気合は相当で、これからそれぞれのバンドで再結成ツアーでも出来そうです。特に良かったのは#Free Ride, #Who can it be now。やっぱ、盛り上げも巧いです。最後にJim Keltner 66も参加でエンディング。このシリーズは続く限り買って、応援したいですね。でも、もしRingoが辞めたらこんなバンドを組んでツアーできるような人って・・・。
