ソウルやファンクなどブラックミュージックからの影響を盛り込んだ T・レックス 1974年発表のアルバム『Zinc Alloy & The Hidden Riders Of Tomorrow (ズィンク・アロイと朝焼けの仮面ライダー)』が発売50周年を記念して、同時期のヒットシングル「The Groover」「Truck On (Tyke)」を含むボーナストラックを多数追加した７インチサイズ見開きパッケージ仕様の CD２枚組スペシャルエディションで Edsel / Demon レーベルよりリリース。

CD１には、アルバム本編のほか、シングルAB面曲をボーナストラックとして追加。「The Alternate Zinc Alloy: Change」と題された CD２には、レコーディングの過程をたどることができる貴重な初期ヴァージョンやデモ音源など全24曲を収録。
