Digitally remastered and expanded edition of the UK hard rockers' 1980 album including four bonus tracks: 'Gone in the Night' (Alternative Studio Version) plus live versions of 'Lettn' Go', 'Mystery Train' and 'No Place to Run'. This was UFO's eighth studio album and the first featuring Paul Chapman on guitar as Michael Schenker's replacement. These changes signaled a fresh new sound (aided by none other than super-star producer George Martin) and consequently the album reached #11 in January of 1980. EMI. 2009.

Michael Schenker 脱退と共に 1970 年代が終わり、出戻りの Paul Chapman を迎えて 1980 年にリリースされた本作。前作 ”Obsession” の流れそのままにアメリカ市場を強く意識したサウンドになっている。Best Tune は ”Lettin’ Go” で、その方向性にマッチした佳曲。ただそうなると、1曲目の ”Alpha Centauri” はなくてもよかったかも…。

結構な力作なんだけど、マイケル脱退後のアルバムなので忘れ去られつつあるのがなんとも・・・②、③、⑦なんか良いよ。
