    『ひらがなの誕生』 普段なにげなく使っている「ひらがな」についてより知れるかなぁと思い手にしてみた。読んでみると、起源や誕生を知りたいと思うより、単純に読んでいて面白いなと感じる文章が続いていた。「柔らかいひらがなでさらさらと書かれた掛け軸は、なんだか優しい心になる。」とか「筆文字の水茎の跡の優しさのなかに流れる雅の力。」と話す内容に惹かれる。ひらがなは「視覚的にも聴覚的にも日本文化そのものを表象するもの」として、いろんな角度から、ひらがなの誕生の歴史を探っては、考察することの出来る楽しみ。「ありがとう」と、ひらがなで書き示す美しさを実感出来る喜び！
