    ジャマイカにルーツを持つジョニー・ナッシュ。彼はとくにジャズ・シンガーであるわけではないらしい。が、このビッグバンドをバックにジャズ・ナンバーを歌った本作では、彼は完璧なジャズ・シンガーだ。透き通ったハイ・トーン・ヴォイスがとても素晴らしく、スインギーで若さ溢れるヴォーカルはとてもスリリング。とても19歳とは思えないテクニックを披露してくれる。ハイ・スピードで歌われる「アイ・ガット・リズム」がとくに素晴らしい。バンドの演奏もダイナミックで◎。
